Email Data Source Completes Series B Funding. Releases API.
Email Data Source, Inc., the email marketing industry's original source for email competitive intelligence, has completed a Series B funding round, led by TWJ Capital. Investment terms were not disclosed. Email Data Source has also launched an API allowing partners to integrate Email Data Source data into their own applications.
"Last summer, we completed a funding round to build out our technology group and develop new products. We delivered on those new products, including our new Alerts system and our API, which allows for much broader distribution of our data and deeper access to the value in our database," said Carter Nicholas, CEO of Email Data Source, "The Series B funding will help us take these products to market and capitalize on the partnerships we are forming with Email and Data Service Providers."
Since 2003, Email Data Source, Inc., has collected organized, analyzed and archived over 16 million email marketing messages. In addition to growing its database, Email Data Source, Inc., has recently launched two new products: Alerts and an API.
Alerts are notifications sent to customers when there are new email marketing messages that match their search terms. Alerts automatically checks the more than 40,000 email campaigns processed each day and emails a digest of the results to each subscriber. Alerts can be created at http://alerts.emaildatasource.com.
Developers can immediately begin accessing the new API by registering and applying for a free API key at http://developers.emaildatasource.com. With the new API, developers can access and create their own applications to leverage the over 16 million marketing messages archived by Email Data Source.
