Requirements
- Core Java Expertise (5+ years)
- Strong development skills in Java, servlets, JSP, JSTL and custom tags
- Expert in a Linux environment (5+ years)
- Ability to code and debug in complex multi-threaded environments

- Hard-core development experience with proven ability to release applications on-time
- Experience working with large scale datasets (multiple terabytes)
- A reverence for clean, simple, elegant coding ability
- Hadoop, Bigtable, and Lucene experience a plus

eDataSource is looking for an amazing programmer to take our valuable dataset of millions of emails to the next level.Responsibilities
- Own new projects and lead development to bring these projects to market.
- Choose your toolset -- we currently leverage Java but are open to try new things and push the envelope.
- Leverage Hadoop, BigTable and other distributed systems to tackle the immense data we receive each day, mine key insights, and organize it so that sales and marketing can make sense of it.

Senior Director or VP of New Business Development
With rapid product expansion in our SaaS analytics tools, automated data feeds and build up of full service strategic analytics; eDataSource is looking for a Director of Business Development. The role of the Director of Business Development is to help manage, identify and close new opportunities primarily from eCommerce retail and eCommerce Service companies, as well as ESP’s and MSP’s and network advertisers and thereby continue to drive and grow our revenues. We are looking for an experienced self starter who has a successful background as a closer of enterprise level deals in a consultative selling environment and can continue to grow our pipeline. Experience from an ESP, MSP, eCommerce Platform or Analytical Sales a must.Our new Director of Business Development is a “go-getter”, savy, intelligent individual with strong background in email and social media and the ability to collaborate with sales support from customer service and marketing and our business development team as a successful individual will have opportunities have the opportunity to rapidly move into a leadership position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and drive revenue from New Business.
- Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and follow up on incoming and trade show leads with some cold-calling possibly required from time to time.
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Assist with sales cycle development - from lead generation to closing business.
- Be a SalesForce champion.
- Generate leads from tradeshows and regional networking events.
Requirements / Qualifications
- A proven sales closer and hunter.
- Minimum 5 years technical collaborative sales experience.
- Proven relationships and solid knowledge of the email and/or ecommerce space.
- Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast pace, rapid change environment.
- Superior professional presence and business acumen.
- Thorough understanding of MS Office applications and Internet.
- Experience with and effective use of SalesForce.
- Experience selling at the VP and C a plus.
- Direct marketing experience a plus.
